Wedgeview Country House & Spa

"We enjoyed our stay and the warm hospitality we received upon arrival and during our stay. The staff was outstanding. The breakfast spread and service was A+! Food was beautifully presented and was delish with fresh juices that were incredible. The room and bed linens had a strong fragrance that was difficult for me as I am sensitive to that type of thing. The room was clean but I think it would feel cleaner if the old carpet was replaced with a type of flooring that can be cleaned between guest turnover. The bathroom was modern and aesthetically designed and large with a deep soaking tub and glass shower along with two sinks. Loved the bathroom and the touches they provided such as the terry cloth bath robes. We loved going to town in the evening to Stellenbosch and the property was close enough for us to drive. The property also can arrange a driver to take you to town. There is a pool and then spa services also for more relaxation time on the property."

"I was travelling around in SA for 2.5 weeks and this was one of the best properties at which I had the privilege of staying. It was clean and comfortable, had air-conditioning, and the surroundings were beautiful and serene. Breakfast was good too."

"Short 3 night stay for a function in Stellenbosch. The property is comfortable, well appointed and I really enjoyed the smart TV and access to Netflix and Amazon Prime. Super big shower and a bath we never used. I didn’t see a washing machine, which would be useful on a longer stay, but there was a dishwasher. Overall, excellent and the quietness and pitch black room with blockout curtains was great for a good night’s sleep. One small suggestion to the management is to look at a way to switch off the living room lights close to the bedroom entrance. It makes it a little tricky navigating the way in pitch black if the bedroom door is closed. Not a deal breaker though! 😊"
