"Great Location and amenities. Rooms were clean and spacious."

"Unfortunately, an unwanted person had climbed the fence to use the swimming facility. She was on her phone acting like she had lost her mind screaming foul language for over an hour. Come to find out she then changed her clothes right there on the pool deck all of this, of course, was seen from above window and then she hopped the fence and walked away, cursing at her phone. Really not the staff’s fault."

"Beautiful setting and conveniently located. Outdoor cleanup, trash removal could be improved."

"Perfect place for the move out weekend moveout"

"The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, checked in on us throughout our stay, helped with a tv remote issue and offered extras to compensate for our very small issue. Breakfast was great as well as the kitchen staff who made sure everything was kept well stocked. Room was clean and comfortable. Best hotel stay we have had in quite some time! We will definitely be back again when we visit our Hokie at VT!"

"This is a nice clean, comfortable hotel In a convenient location. The free breakfast Was tasty with a unique lounge area. It was very reasonably priced. Not a large room but it had everything We needed including a shower."

"Very nice hotel. Very helpful staff and outstanding service. The breakfast included was so tasty."

"It was clean and comfortable. We only stayed one night, so didn't really explore all the amenities. The ground floor, accessible room worked well for my mom. (As a suggestion for hotels in general, even thin carpet is hard to push a walker over). I liked all the lighting, especially in the bathroom. I really liked the shower -- even the mechanism that the shower door hangs on was beautiful. My only complaint was that I couldn't reach the shower head to adjust it. Nice, clean, comfortable...

"It was not a good stay"

"Beautiful property. My only complaint is the stairs and parking lots need better lighting; especially at Chestnut Lodge. There were no lights in the parking area and limited on the stairs. Also at the main lodge stairs - I tripped down the front steps of the main lodge while checking out because it was still dark outside. If I hadn’t of caught the railing, I would’ve fallen to the ground."

"Room was very small, beds did not stay put bc they were on cheap frames, walls were very thin and so we heard neighbors through the night, and all the rest of the furniture and closet were extremely cheap modular plastic. It was like a dorm room with no decoration. It did not seem like a good value, especially with another $30 per night pet fee on top of that. None of the breakfast was fresh except for some fruit (all pre-packaged items). There were no handicap accessible automatic doors to get...

"My only positive score is for the front desk clerk. He is not an owner but has to hear the complaints of the patrons. The exterior is not maintained with peeling paint, the interior is beyond dated, mold in the shower grout, bathroom floors are slippery and not from moisture and the bathroom door barely closes as it hits the toilet. Very questionable people loitering around the property and pretty sure they provide housing to Welfare recipients. We did not feel comfortable staying on the...
