"This is rather a nice hotel, clean and comfortable everything you could ask for. It is convenient to the Midi train station. This is part of the problem though. This is not a very nice area of Brussels. The hotel can't do anything about this and we were okay with it as once we got into the hotel we were safe and comfortable. Now the issue. On Friday May 23rd our second day in Brussels I was robbed of my gold chain in a typical blitz type of street robbery. This happened a short distance from the hotel. I can't blame the hotel for this these things happen. I was bleeding from a couple of minor scrapes having been assaulted during the robbery. I asked the front desk personnel to call for the police so I could report the robbery.The girl on the desk phoned someone and had a conversation. She advised me that it might take some time and maybe I should go to the police station. I was not to keen on that idea and said I would wait for the police. This was approx. 4:00pm At 6:00pm I decided that waiting was ridiculous. I was told the closest police station was at the Midi station. I walked down there to report the robbery. Turns out these Police were Railway police and didn't deal with regular crimes in the city. I was then directed to the appropriate location. Police were very thorough with their investigation BUT the officer checked and at no point did the Brussels Police EVER receive a call from the hotel. This is very sad and unforgivable customer service!"

"Rooms are small but modern and clean. The girl working when we got there was not at the desk and the door was locked. We walked around the entire service centre looking for another door with all our bags. She was on a break. This should never happen when you advertise 24/7 reception desk. Need to hire another person to cover off breaks."

"It was excellent. The location for us was perfect because it was right across the street from the train station, which is so convenient. Our days are so full we dont need prime location spots. I like when I can ditch my luggage quickly on arrival. The hotel was so clean as has been every place I've been in Europe. The front desk guy was great, so helpful and sweet. If I had to say anything, the lighting in the room was very poor, but not a deal breaker in any way."
