"I want to begin by emphasizing the rental, overall, was very good. It is roomy, comfy & clean. The owner communicates well & promptly. We had a good time. However there are several things that need to be addressed to make the property a 5-star. 1) The listing says there is A/C, but there is only a window unit in one room. It was uncomfortably warm the whole time, including at night. We had to sleep with the ceiling fans on and windows open; unfortunately some rooms had screens with holes which allowed bugs in. 2) The listing also says there is a dish washer. Yes, there is one, but there is a label on it that says it doesn't work. The label appears to have been there for some time, but the listing still says it's there. 3) Both mornings when we woke up, we found mouse droppings on kitchen counters and the stove. The property is in the country, so there is a reason, but it's still disgusting. 4) The listing mentions pool and foosball tables. There were no balls for foosball, and only one functioning pool cue. 5) There is a large concrete patio with riding toys for kids. The kids loved it, but around the edges there are bolts sticking out of the conrete every few feet, which, if someone fell on them, could cause some serious injuries. I repeat, overall it was a good experience, but these issues made the experience good rather than great. It would be nice if the owner would spend a little money and take care of some of these issues."
