"It was our second time staying in this beautiful cabin. Great communication from the host and a very well taken care of home. Stocked with extra towels, blankets and pillows. Could not ask for a better host or a better stay. 10/10 for sure. You wont regret booking here."

"Another great stay at this beautiful cabin. Caught lots of fish. Bluegills, perch, large mouth bass, and 3 northern pike. Perfect place to relax and unwind. Will definitely be booking our 4th visit for next year."

"We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The cabin had everything we need needed. Lake was quiet, saw the eagles and a hawk. The only negative I would add is the stairs in the cabin are too steep. Bringing the laundry down for the housekeeper shouldn't be the job for the guest. This is the first time we have ever had to do that at a VRBO."

"I thought the home actually looked better in person than the pictures!The upstairs bed was very comfortable and being able to incline the head and watch TV was a nice treat.The kitchen was well stocked and the bedding was clean and new. The hardest part was the detour by the home but that was no fault of the property and the bridge construction should be done soon.I also wish there was a comfy chair in the living room. The futons were great for my girls to sleep on but were a little too low for us older ones to sit on and get back up while watching TV together.I would definitely rent again."

"We were a family of twelve that included all age ranges. Large kitchen was easy to get around in and had large amount of counter space. Bedrooms were spaced out enough that kids did not interfere with adults. The three bathrooms were very clean and roomy with minimal congestion. Linens were well stocked. On site washer and dryer were much appreciated. The covered front porch became a welcome gathering place for everyone and was utilized every day. Front yard was perfect for yard games. The backyard fire pit really hit the spot for s'mores. Access to the lake posed no problem and the water was crystal clear. We were able to catch several Northern from the rented pontoon boat. The teenage girls brought their own paddle boards which they enjoyed paddling around in the lagoon. Balsam Lake is a quaint cozy town with several unique shops. It would be advantageous to the guests to have their open and close times in your welcoming information. Several trips were made to town, only to find the businesses where not open yet. We all agreed, this is one of the best places we have ever stayed. and we will probably be back."
