"The house was ideally located in town and well-equipped with all that we needed for our stay. While it was unclear whether the property had a hot tub as listed, my daughter enjoyed her time digging out enough snow to open the door to the balcony. Very pleased with the ease of check in, value for the money, location, and comfort of the Painter's House."

"Small place as expected, but we were able to squeeze our family of 5 into it for the night. Owner was helpful and communicative. Cute small town. Not 100% sure, but I think there was a public putting green across the street for golf lovers."

"We arrived in the evening, driving through clouds unable to see anything. We awoke to find we were surrounded 360 degrees by gorgeous mountains! We were awed!It was a bit of a drive on a dirt road but well worth it. The house was great. As described. The hot tub was an added treat. "We booked a few nights at the Hidden Cottage and simply loved the place! The cottage is located not far from a village, in a pretty countryside area. The house had everything you needed and the cottage was very clean. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. My 13 year old son particularly appreciated the soccer field we had access to!  I recommend this place during your stay in Iceland!"
