"Interesting concept for modern accommodation. Everything seems to flow seamlessly. Clean, functional, and generously sized rooms. The free laundry allowed us to catch up on our washing on a 6 week tour of France & Spain. Some reviews seem to focus on the 30 minute walk to the old town. We took the 10 minute bus ride from behind the hotel for 1.9 euro everyday. Just tap on with your credit card. Breakfast looked good but we never tried. Gym was well fitted out and rooms quiet."

"Our stay at the Barcelo Costa Basca was simply perfect. The beds are super confortables, the staff’s cordiality is unmatched and the food was glorious. The gym and spa are a great complement to our guest experience. Only low point were a few minor maintenance issues in our room, but overall the best hotel in our trip so far. Thanks Barcelo, Nacho, Cristina and the crew for a wonderful stay!"

"Instalaciones muy bien. Atención en recepción muy bien. Atención en bar-lobby muy bien, pero mucho por mejorar en la comida del bar-lobby. Ubicación excelente, cerca de la playa pero alejada del ruido. Muy buena opción."

"Beautiful hotel, Safe area, centrally located. Staff was very helpful. gave us great recommendations about places to go and eat both in old town and outside. Worth recommending to friends and we will definitely stay here again next time we are in San Sebastian ."
