"Great hostel. Our room was clean, air con worked well. Drinking water provided. The hostel is social without being a party hostel, they’ve got the balance just right. The pool and swim up bar were great. Really enjoyed our time here, would definitely recommend. "

"Excellent hostel. Great property, very comfy beds and extra pillow was a nice touch. Shower towels and beach towels included. All staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had a small issue with one of the tours and they were so attentive to the problem. Free shuttle to beach and town is nice! Would definitely recommend staying here. "

The staff are genuinely friendly, helpful, and professional. The rooms are comfortable, the location is convenient, and everything feels well organized. Perfect base for exploring Moalboal, including the sardine run. Great value for money. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend"

"Our stay at the Backyard Inn was nothing short of a nightmare. The experience felt like actually sleeping outside with the chickens. The pod smelled of chicken waste, the sink didn’t drain, and the noise was unbearable—constant chicken noises, roosters crowing, and no peace or quiet to rest. We couldn’t wait to leave. The only saving grace was the staff, who were friendly and helpful, but that does not make up for the dreadful conditions. I would never stay here again. Avoid this place unless...
