"This is a very cool and large 1930s inn with a very colorful history. It appeared that there were only two people working there while we were staying there, and they were working VERY hard to provide the best experience. The inn itself is pretty funky, but in a good way - lots of interesting and fun midcentury details to check out while exploring the premises. "I usually prefer Hampton hotels. The breakfast is decent, the beds are comfortable and they are well maintained. This location was no different. We stayed here while passing through on a long road trip. The hotel was shockingly overpriced on the way back for some reason so we stayed elsewhere. It is a short drive to the waterfront area which was a great place to go for a walk with our dog after so many hours in the car"
