"The view from the room over Lake Toya was superb. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff were polite and helpful. Parking is outside the door. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but there is a good dining area with a microwave. We would recommend bringing supplies with you - the nearest restautant is a 15 minute drive."

Excellent service, along with beautiful rooms and dining (breakfast included with the dinner an option) are further enhanced by an open bar lounge and free shuttle to the lake shore for fire works. Excellent place to stay!"

"The house is fantastic and the location was just about perfect between Niseko and Rusutsu! Can’t wait to come back again!"

"This seasoned hotel turned out very satisfying to me. Though at one end of the beach park, it boasts a great view, with access to spacious beach front. Just as the picture of its exterior onsen spa shows, you can see the mountain at the far end of the lake. Also the check-in time is not as restrictive as some online review complained (before 6pm) so more flexible for a busy travel schedule. The staff is courteous and responsive to guests' need when they observe it. The only challenge for guests is, lack of Japanese language skills may restrict their communication with the staff. But this creates a real motivation for repeating guests to pick up some common tourist Japanese. And another possible annoyance is the residue smoke smell, if you are really sensitive which I am luckily not. So in short, I would love to stay in this hotel in my next visit to Lake Toya."

"Lovely staff and a quaint little place, but at the time of booking I didn’t realise it was one shared toilet down very narrow stairs, which isn’t great in the middle of the night. Of course this isn’t the fault of the hotel, just be aware of this when booking. "
