"Photos give a very different impression to the reality. Building is very tired and was locked when we arrived early afternoon. Room was extremely small, with a very tiny en-suite. No curtains only blinds on the window meant that we were woken early by the early morning sun. Property is on a very busy, noisy road."

"We had a deluxe room on the second floor. It was extremely hot - due to the temperature outside being 33 degrees - we did have a fan but no air con. Nice shower and coffee machine and kettle. Small TV but comfortable, clean room in general. Staff were all polite and efficient. Breakfast was good and bar facilities were also good. The Hotel was well situated for visiting where we wanted to go - about 20 miles from Coventry and about 20 miles from Woodstock and about 10 miles from Farmer's Dog and...

"The Bower House property is truly a gem. Clean and beautiful property at a reasonable rate. Nobody around on Monday and Tuesdays to check you in just a lock box system, but it works well."
