cozy perfect little hideaway in the middle of god's country. very peaceful and nice UpNorth setting. bathrooms placed perfectly, and nice layout. Enjoyed my stay.
We really enjoyed our stay. This property is beautiful, the sun hits the patio just right in the afternoon, the breeze off the lake is amazing, bed is comfy, and kitchen well stocked! We can't wait to come back! :)
Really enjoyed our stay here- cabin was as described in listing. Loved how seculeded the place was. Lake was beautiful and like glass, perfect to take the kayaks out! Was the perfect place for a nice getaway from our busy lives! Thanks!
Had an amazing stay. Cabin was very clean and well kept. Amazing view of the lake. Only negative is hard to find the first time. But overall was an amazing stay.
I will be booking this cabin again! I and my family enjoyed the location, really enjoyed it's central location to all of the sites - it was like being at home, only better - my Son in-law and my Grandson fished every morning and evening, my daughter and granddaughters enjoy all of the local site seeing - my wife and myself have been to the UP many many times over the years, best trip yet - we will be back very soon - Thanks so much for a trip to remember!
Was exactly what we were looking for for our weekend away. Quite place in the woods with no cell service. Wi-Fi was available if we wanted to hop online. Perfect place to disconnect and spend time with family.
Our family enjoyed a nightly campfire and fishing on the lake. We traveled to numerous destinations around the area and were located close enough for several day trips. We were able to cook on the grill and breakfast in the house with everything provided for cooking utensils.
I booked this property for my parents, children and I to spend time in the area of the UP we had never visited. The property was nearly exactly as described and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. We loved the access to the lake, use of kayaks, and fire pit. The location is farther away from Munising than I anticipated so we did do a lot of driving to and from attractions but overall, we loved our stay at this property! Thank you!
Great location on an inland lake with short drive to Pictured Rocks hiking trails and 30 minute drive to Munising.
Cabin was very clean and well stocked, all kitchen amenities were available, gas stove and dish washers were a plus. Wi-Fi and Roku t.v. both great amenities as well.
Great fall colors during our stay and hiking in the National park on the Lake Superior shoreline was fantastic.
This is our second time. Me and my two nephews, one flew in from WA both from Lansing. Since my husbands passing they have been my fishing buddies. Lake is a nice size for us. We bring our own boat but one is available. We love the set up of the house. I have master with bath. Boys have bunks and their own bathroom. Great front lawn for your furbabies. Firepit is awesome with a swing close by. Mostly caught Northerns and some pan fish. Fishing is good. Always enjoy going into Munising for Muldoons pasties.
Overall our stay was great! Cabin was a little hard to find but we came in at night with a few difficulties but their instructions were spot on! Its always harder to see at night.
The cabin was cute, inviting, and for the most part clean. There was a lot of hair/fur on a few of the bed's sheets but I just rewashed them and we were good. Lots of kitchen supplies/dishes/cookware.
A few things to note ... the closest restaurants and grocery store are a good 30 min drive. Picture Rock parks are also all a minimum 30 minute drive. Nothing bad for the cabin, just good to be aware.
There was a small mouse problem but the owners are aware and are actively trying to remedy the situation ... my dog tried to help out! Haha.
Overall great stay and would definitely stay again!!!
We stayed three nights, and it felt like home. Everything was comfortable, the kitchen is a nice size and the dining table is nice for meals and games. The shower in the main bedroom is fantastic! Definitely recommend
Family vacation to Pictured Rocks Lakeshore. Cabin on the lake was comfy and quiet. Lake is beautiful. The location is perfect if you don’t want to drive daily for activities off site. Very little boat traffic, so pier fishing and evening campfires were relaxing and enjoyed by all.
