"Cute cabin right on the river- we were in town for the Force Fields music festival and we didn't want to mess with camping at the venue (we like our sleep) and it was less than a 10 min drive and was perfect for what we needed. We cooked big steaks outside on the charcoal grill and ate at a cute wooden table along the water. The bathroom shower could use some work and maybe an updated A/C unit but it has everything we needed."

"The hotel is older, but in good condition and clean. The staff were helpful. I would probably have stayed again, but the day I left, my credit card was hacked. I was in Ladysmith for a few days before I checked out and had no issues when I used the credit card at other places, but the day I checked out, I was hacked and had to get a new card. Since I've not stayed there before and have not had this happen before, I may consider it a coincidence."

"Everything was just so cozy from the front office decor to the bed and bedding itself and the lighting by the bed when I walked into the room. The shower was relaxing and all amenities were available which was convenient that I didnt need to bring an iron with me and was able to make my first cup of coffee in the morning. The airiconditioning was nice and cool. The room was spacious. I watched a little TV before bed. I slept so very comfortably until my morning alarm! Easy and quick check out and super nice staff! I highly recommend staying here!"

"Great cabin on the river! Plenty of space to spread out. Garage had great indoor space with ping pong and living area. Outdoor spaces were amazing. Hanging out by the fire pit or relaxing under the patio. Communication with host was excellent. I would definitely book here again."

"This property is exactly as stated. Very clean, spacious, homey , great location and not far from restaurants, bars and a few stores. Enjoyed watching the deer walk/gaze in the yard. I highly recommend this property for weekend or weekly stays, Communication with the host was very great."

"10/10, definitely would recommend this place to friends and family. Everything was as advertised. They included all the little niceties that made the cabin feel lived in and like home. We brought some food to cook and we didn't have to worry about utensils or spices or condiments. All those little things you would have to bring with you or forgot. It was amazing just to show up with our food and be able to cook it and have dinner.The woodshed had plenty of chopped wood so we didnt have to buy our own. Kayaks and paddle boards were easy to access and as advertised .Fireplace worked as advertised and was so lovely at night, truly helped make things magical. :DPlus they had a little welcome gift of maple syrup. There were no issues finding the lockbox or getting in the house. Everything was CLEAN. Very well maintained property. Both grills worked and we made some delicious marinated chicken on their smoke/grill combo, it was delicious!!Trust the high ratings and stay here, you're definitely getting your money's worth if you're looking to enjoy a nice quiet, comfortable vacation on a lake without putting in a ton of effort. We were able to just show up and start relaxing immediately."
