"I picked this hotel because it was cost-effective, but also had great reviews, and I cannot figure out where those great reviews came from. The fixtures in the rooms are very old… The shower grates are gross, there was rust on the bathroom door frame, and tiny fruit flies in the room. The furniture looks like the same furniture you find in a state run nursing home facility. If I was staying more than a single night. I would’ve switched hotels."

"New property was only open a month when I stayed. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Great location in a nice quiet walkable neighborhood. Room was clean but a little more attention to detail would be great. I sanitize wherever I stay so I probably notice little things while doing so. Parking was a breeze. Will be booking there again in a couple months and will for sure check out the amenities pool/fitness center next time around."

"We arrived an hour and 5 minutes after check-in time and hadn't received instructions. I reached out and got a prompt response that it was before check-in time, but the cleaners were gone, so I could go in early. I pointed out the time, and the error was attributed to the recent time change, which still would have put me there after the check-in time, but easy enough to overcome.The neighborhood is going through some changes, and there are overgrown vacant lots all around the townhome. The welcome book made mention of the beautiful views in the morning, so I am wondering if the person who wrote it ever went to this home. A previous reviewer mentioned being able to walk to shops. The only shops nearby are a corner store and a smoke shop. On 2 of our 3 nights, a dog was outside barking into the early morning hours.The welcome book gave instructions for the alarm system, which wasn't working when we were there When I notified the owner, it didn't seem like it was new news.Comfort was adequate. I was grateful to have 3 rooms for our family to spread out, it was clean. The appliances were new. The beds weren't terrible, but the sheets were polyester with a plastic mattress cover directly under them, making for a hot, crinkly, sticky night. There were enough dishes and coffee cups, but only 3 forks. Luckily, there were only 3 of us, so we didn't have to eat in shifts. I didn't cook much, but it would be hard with what was there for a family.Overall, fine, but not great."

"Our stay was exactly what we had hoped for. It was close to Rice University, Daikin Park and the hwy. I liked the driveway was gated and instructions during our stay were well laid out. Thank you"
