Our stay at The Peninsula Shanghai was truly outstanding. The hotel’s location couldn’t be better — right on The Bund, with easy access to the city’s main attractions and incredible skyline views. The room was enormous, elegant, and exceptionally comfortable, perfectly blending classic style with modern luxury. Every detail — from the bedding to the technology — was thoughtfully designed to make our stay effortless and relaxing. The facilities throughout the hotel are superb, from the lobby to the spa and restaurants, maintaining the high standards you’d expect from The Peninsula brand. But what made our experience truly memorable was the outstanding service from Leo at the Concierge desk. He went above and beyond to assist us whenever we needed help, with genuine kindness and professionalism. Leo’s attention and care made a real difference and reflected the warm, personalized hospitality that defines The Peninsula. We had such an amazing stay at the Peninsula Shanghai. We were treated so well by all the staff. The room is spacious and grand, we joked that our son can just sleep in the giant closet. The pool is spectacular. We highly recommend the Peninsula Shanghai

Fabulous stay at the Peninsula. Great location. Stunning view across the river. Exceptional service. Wonderful pool. Luxurious rooms with lots of space and incredibly comfortable beds. What more can I say.

Opulent property in a great location. Room has some dated items (fax machine, printer) but overall lovely. Staff was exceptional. Concierge Danny was a gem helping us to secure tickets to Disney and was so patient working through challenges. Spa staff and spa experience was top tier. Great experience!

5 nights family getaway

Overral impression is okay. Service is a main point of concern. During the lunch time in the lobby area after having main courses and salads we were not allowed to share a single pot of tea for three of us. We have been forced to buy 3 pots of tea instead: one for each of us. In the meanwhile during all 5 breakfasts we had there, every time we asked for tea there was only one pot served as a default setting. No doubt we had more on request, but after a request only.
Outside appearance was elegant. But not for the New year night.
