"The location alone makes this a winner. The hotel lobby is excellent, quite lavish and beautiful. We were there 6 nights and the suite was well supplied and cleaned, with an enormous bathroom. Outside noise was almost none, impressively. Front staff and again housekeeping were excellent but the bar staff are thoroughly under trained for serving, more need to speak some English and the resulting drinks are too expensive given just walking a block or two buys you options. Wine, especially are very poor and beer options aren't great either. The gym and pool area are nice, especially a hidden space on the 7th floor that is quiet and beautiful. Would stay here again."

"clean large rooms with helpful courteous staff, who while lacking english knowledge tried their best. place is difficult to find and google maps is useless, no internet to speak of- ATT day pass saved me as it bypasses the firewall. Shanghai is a clean, hot and humid-July- city, congested with people and great to walk around. The hotel is close to the bund and riverwalk promenade. avoid cabs use didi. credit cards work in seven eleven and family mart"

"convenient location. Comfortable bed. Clean linen. Parking is free and convenient. Facility is a bit old. Some buttons on the elevators not working. Now some imperfections: 1. After I checked out, we had lunch in the hotel restaurant. I was told that I can not receive the discount for guests. OK legally I checked out about two hours ago, after staying for 9 nights. My relative has to pay for the parking when we left."
