It's nice to stay at the Shamrock Country Inn, especially for someone who grew up on Route 66 and appreciates the nostalgia of the vintage motels. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. Rooms are clean and comfortable and breakfast is provided.

For the price point, this establishment does an excellent job. This was my 4th time staying here. Friendly owners. There’s nothing fancy, but it’s clean, quiet and you get a good nights sleep. You also get a breakfast, coffee, waffles, cereal, sausage and gravy, eggs! I will continue to make this my stop during my travels.

Parking was good. The area felt safe. It is an older building on the Rte 66 pilgrimage. The interior color choices reflect that. The owner has done a lot nice job on upkeep and is serious about offering a good experience.

Parking was fine we had a 25 ft trailer able to fit in middle of the lot. No designated pet area. behind the property and side there are grassy areas, nearby historic Conoco gas station. Easy access to Rte 40. Room was fairly clean has rugs. Basket full of toiletries. No road noise or bright hotel lights able to get a good sleep. Happy travels…

At first glance it may not look like much but it has everything you need to be comfortable for a night while passing through Texas . The staff was super friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean , neat and very comfortable. The breakfast was hot and fresh. Everything our family of 8 needed to rest for the night. Thanks Shamrock for a great stay.

This is a wonderful motel. The rooms are good size, nicely appointed, and very clean. I love the retro tile and tub/toilet in the bathroom. The beds were very comfy, and we didn't have any issues with noise for our 2-night stay. We did use the constant fan option for white noise. The HVAC system did a great job of keeping the temperature comfortable. The breakfast room was really nice, and the Texas-shaped waffles were great. The staff was very friendly too.

We had a beautiful stay. The room was clean, the sheets smelled wonderful, it was newly repainted, the beds were comfy, and breakfast was pretty good. The property was a bit older, but you could tell they really put a lot into keeping it nice. Perfect for an economy place to stay the night when traveling.

We have stayed there 1 or 2 nights for 10 years on our way driving from from MN to Phoenix. We wouldn't consider anywhere else. We love having our car, golf clubs, road bikes, etc., just outside our unit door. Safe, clean and easy. We are always welcomed and acknowledged by the owners who are totally present. Why not save $50 or more per night and be more than satisfied.
