You hear it before you reach the door: a seasonal waterfall fountain bubbling beside the stone steps. Bird's Perch View is a custom-built, single-story cabin of about 1,300 square feet where no detail was skipped, from the carved entry door to the granite bar and sink. Both bedrooms are king suites with their own bathrooms, and the master adds a soaking tub that looks into the woods. The living area keeps two futons for extra sleeping, so it fits up to 8, with a foosball table inside for the group. Out back, the stone patio has a covered hot tub, a fire pit, and a grill.
