Zander K Hotel

"Location was perfect. Next door to the train station. There is a taxi stand by train station too for super convenience. The restaurant is above average as is the bar. Breakfast was included and as lavish as any I’ve enjoyed. Cold meats, cheeses, smoked salmon, lots of breads, juices, fruits and many hot breakfast items such as eggs, beans, potatoes and bacon. The security was better than most in that elevator access required you key card to operate. It’s a simple walk to the “Old City”. I did it all four days. Plenty of sites, shops and restaurants along the way. If I ever return, I’ll book it again."

"Basic Clean Accommodations. They use a self check in/out system. Place to cook/eat. Place to sit and chat. Rooms were to sleep in, not settle in. Very nice shower/bathroom."

"Hotel is in a great location and the staff were all friendly. The room was clean, although there were some stains on the carpet by the radiator - looks like it had a leak at some point. We had a twin room and were only given one pillow per bed, but when we mentioned it at reception they went and got 2 more pillows that we could take up to the room ourselves. The only down side I would say is that there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room and you have to buy hot drinks from reception. We fancied a hot chocolate on our last evening but the reception staff were nowhere to be seen so we gave up in the end, so that was disappointing but overall a great stay."

"Helpful front desk. People on the room above ours were very noisy. Upon complaining to the front desk they immediately provided a different room, problem solved. Great job. Really nice hotel decor, lots and lots of wood work, unique. Breakfast was awful one of the best ever. rooms on the small side but no issue for 1 night. Nice bathroom except shower area with requires to jump over a high side of a bathtub. Worse, bathtub floor very slippery. Illumination more towards dark than bright. I definitely will stay there again if returning to Berger."

"This hotel was in a great location, their breakfast had the most selection of any of the others I stayed, the bed was comfortable, and it was pretty quiet. I enjoyed the stay. I’d stay here again."
