"The hotel was well presented, immaculate rooms, fresh and well decorated with great storage and views!! The breakfast was plentiful and had an excellent range. Staff were helpful and happy to arrange requests and extras. They organised and decorated the room on arrival for a birthday. The swimming pool is a fantastic size with an outside area, slide and jacuzzis. The hotel is in a great location and it is walkable to all Lake Bled has to offer. Without doubt, I would stay here again. Thankyou for a wonderful stay!"

"this hotel was in a fantastic spot - we had a view of the castle and island. Our balcony was amazing and it was close to everything. Their breakfast had everything you needed or wanted. the Beds were probably the most comfortable beds we had this whole trip. The only thing i would say is the hotel is a little tired. We had one of the bigger suites and the furniture was old and worn and the rug was as well. if these were updated, this is hands down one of the best hotels in the area!"

"Good points: Staff were really helpful and friendly. Complimentary fizz on arrival. Location of hotel. Hotel allowed us to check in early. Not so good points: I was offered a free upgrade on the hotel room before arrival, but this did not materialise. Room we were in was pretty small. Bathroom was designed in a way that when you had a shower it was impossible not to soak the rest of the bathroom. Building site going on next door, so pretty noisy during the day- although I appreciate this is not the hotel's fault. Ordered a mojito and an old fashioned cocktail in the evening from the bar, but both cocktails did not taste as they should, not good at all, to the point that my partner and I left them unfinished. Restaurant/breakfast area is very cramped, with people sitting very close to each other with no privacy. In the morning we ordered breakfast off the menu and the waiter explained that some ingredients were missing off the item I had ordered. My partners poached eggs were not cooked and the white of the egg was watery and slimy. Given the cost of this hotel and that it is advertised as high end with an A La Carte restaurant, I did expect better."

"Sad to have to give a bad review but it was really bad. Air Conditioning not working. Hotel suggested we sleep with window open but street noise went on till 2 AM. Fitness center was a hotel room with two machines - I think they may be redoing the old one. Pictures of the hotel on the site are mis-leading. The entrance shown is now a clothing boutique. The hotel nickles and dimes. This was probably once a great hotel, not anymore. Location is good. No bar open. No one in the restrurant (other than for breakfast). Other guests complaining about lack of air-conditioning. Room was only ok. -- We had three tough nights with the room hot. Hotel needs a refresh. I'd wait until there is confirmation that it's been redone"
