"Beautiful garden, near the sea and a lovely house. Nice website,easy to make a choice and reservation. You can response when we tell you the oven is broken which we want to use everyday. You told us not to leave anything in the oven, but that was not the real problem. It didn't work at all. You ignore our whatsapp messages for 2 weeks. When I send you an email in the week before to ask how late we can arrive, you don't give any response. And the description of the house needs to be adjust....

"Maison spatieuse idéalement située à 4min à pied de la plage et 5 min des commerces du village. Les couchers de soleil à déguster depuis le jardin sont légendaires (Voir Photo) et les nuits très tranquilles. L'equipement est de qualité tant en électroménager comme mobiliaire.On a profité d'un excellent séjour et les quelques questions que l'on a pu avoir, ont été très reactivement repondues par Emilie et par le propríétaire.Dans "les Pénates" vous trouverez à coup sur du repos. "Centrally located calm charming house in Varengeville, with a romantic garden and good restaurant across the street. Very good butcher, baker and small supermarket within 10 minutes walking distance. 20 minutes to the beautiful beach, which you can walk during ebb. Very nice warm english speaking hostess. "Loved the property"

"Room needed maintenance loose tap and hair dryer bracket broken and dryer in cupboard. Staff were very good, the hot breakfast could have been hotter! The underground parking was very tight having a large car I had to be very careful! I was intending to charge my EV but €500 deposit for the lead and difficulty manoeuvring in the underground car park put me off."

"Room basic but spacious and clean. The lounge bar wasn’t very comfortable and the drinks were very limited but for an overnight stopover it suited a purpose. The location, maybe if I’d know the region beforehand, would have been off my list. Amongst a new affordable housing area, right next to a prison."

"This was a beautiful hotel, very convenient to everything in town and a great starting point for a long hike around the fields and cliffs in the area. One thing is having better communication around parking. I tried emailing both on hotels.com and their own website to see about reserving ahead of time and never heard back here and literally couldn’t submit the form on their website. If you don’t call about parking just plan to park somewhere else in Étretat from the start. We pulled into the lot and had a hard time getting out bc it’s very very small even for compact cars so just keep that in mind if you’re driving. We parked at Parking du Grand Val and it was just a short walk to the hotel from there so really not an inconvenience if you plan ahead of time."

"The building was interesting and the staff was helpful. The main negative was our room- under the eaves with a very roundabout way to get there: two elevators, two sets of stairs and we are in our late 70's. It was cumbersome and tiring to get there. The eaves were so low my husband hit his head several times."
