"Olivier met us in the rain to grab our bags, made a fire in the salon and chilled our wine. House was lovely and so welcoming. Room was beautiful, perfectly appointed. Wonderful dinner recommendation, and then a fabulous breakfast.

"I stayed 2 nights at Stéfan's place at the beginning of a bicycle trip. The location is ideal; easy to reach from Blois, but remote enough to be quiet and tranquil.I spent a day shopping, riding to Cheverny where I had a picnic on the grounds of the chateau, and back to Vineuil. On the way I stopped at the coop degustation center for Cour Cheverny. "We rented a room at the last minute for a low price. This is not a typical hotel. We learned that we had been expected to bring our own linen, and we would [will?] be charged a cleaning fee if the room is not clean enough. Massive space for cost.
This is an event cluster of apartments, and the management is not quite set up for smooth per diem rentals. All things considered, a pleasant stay and we navigated the lack of short term rental support."
"Clean and comfortable room, helpful staff and good breakfast and evening meal. Building itself is a bit 'tired' looking but we would stay there again"
"Enjoyed our brief stay at this charming hotel. The reception staff made a GREAT restaurant recommendation. The room was comfortable, well-designed, nicely decorated."
"Staff at check in was incredibly nice and attentive. Room was shown and explanation of access both during daytime hours and after hours (there is a back door to the old town that makes it a snap) was given.
Room was cozy, not large, but bathroom was great and amenities were good. Air conditioning worked splendidly.
Centrally located right across the street from the Loire River. Our room (#7) had a balcony (shared) with a deck table and chairs. Rooms have a small fridge with “minibar” items. Guests are provided a free bottle of locally sourced spring water.
It’s a charming boutique hotel and we would definitely stay here again if need arose!"
"I had chosen this hotel as it was close to the train station and was one of the few in Blois that had an elevator. When I arrived, I was informed the elevator was out of service (and apparently there was no plan to have it repaired.) I asked if the Hotel St. Jacques which was a few buildings away had an elevator, and the receptionist grudgingly called them. Well, they, too, have an elevator, but it was not working because the "group" was remodeling the hotel.
My room was small and at the extreme other end of the first floor (NOT ground floor.) But it was clean and quiet because the entire city is quiet at night. I didn't bother with breakfast as I've found pastry shops have better selections in the morning.
The location is very convenient. Easy walking to Chateau Blois and the Mansion of Magic. If renting a car, parking is available at the train station for a moderate fee."
"A real chateau. Huge bedroom and bathroom. Gorgeous lounge plus a big wooded area for walks. They also have a pool but I didn’t use it. No fridge or safe in the room. Not air conditioned but they provide a fan. Full of history with medieval ruins and 18th century manor house. Great place but I wouldn’t stay in summer because of the lack of air conditioning."

6/10 Okay
"Could not beat the location, absolutely stunning. Our room was also top drawer.
However, dinner was mediocre, waiting staff were poorly trained. Breakfast was poor, again few staff, not attentive and food choices were very limited. I had to chase 3 times to order a simple omelette and it was not busy or peak season.
Overall beautiful setting which promised highly but service did not deliver and certainly not aligned to the price paid"
