Bigfoot RV & Cabins Park

8/10 Good

"Cute and quiet. Nice kitchen and bedroom. The couch is saggy in the middle, so it's uncomfortable, but that was the only issue."

The Lindsay Lodge & Restaurant

8/10 Good

"It’s easy to feel the lodge vibe at this great location on the river and also to recognize that it could use a bit of TLC around the edges. Disappointed that dining room was closed. Continental breakfast had numerous options- thank you. We never saw a staff member during our stay- Felt like the place had just held an event and everyone had gone home….. For the price paid value was not there. Great potential for lodge to be really nice"

Charming 4-bedroom house in Applegate Valley. Private river access, WiFi and AC

10/10 Excellent

"We were two couples, and enjoyed our stay. The home is large and would be great for a family gathering. The master bedroom is huge and has the top floor to itself. The main floor has two nice bedrooms with a shared bath. The lower floor has one bedroom and bath and a large living/game area that could sleep a few kids. The beds are comfortable and the linens are good. The kitchen is well equipped, but dinnerware is only for eight people. The home is in a very rural setting. We saw a lot of deer, and a couple of guys on horseback rounding up a stray steer from the dining room window! No grocery stores or restaurants nearby, closest seems to be Jacksonville and perhaps a convenience store. Bring everything you need, including ice as there isn’t an icemaker. And cell service is limited, although WiFi and text messages worked fine. The river is on the property but a long walk or it can be driven. Possible to fish from the bank, although we didn’t catch any. There are lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy, including a fire pit and a BBQ. Lake Applegate is about 15 minutes away, with boat launch, picnic and fishing areas."

Cozy Cottage on Applegate River Micro-Farm at Vineyards.15 Min to Jacksonville

10/10 Excellent

"Wendy's cottage was great! The location by the river was lovely and walking to Red Lily was such a great bonus. It was a perfect spot to land for a short a weekend in wine country."

Cozy Wild West Covered Wagon next to River

10/10 Excellent

"We had a large group so we booked both wagons, it was amazing having the whole site to ourselves. Sean & Evellyne have created a beautiful oasis perfect for so many types of getaways, family vacation, couples retreat or a solo stay to get recharged by nature and water. We scheduled a tour of the homestead and it was a highlight for the children, bonus they have an amazing orchard full of delicious fruit to enjoy. We just happened to book the hottest days so far this summer and it was still the perfect vacation with cool water, lots of shade & A/C wagons. : )"

Creekfront 3-bedroom house with WiFi, AC in Happy Camp

10/10 Excellent

"We had a wonderful time. The place was inviting and had a lot to offer for a fun family experience. The garden offered a great place to watch bees and butterflies flying from flower to flower. The fruit trees brought in birds. The creek had small fish and crawfish to watch and try to catch and release. The trail to the creek was manageable for my 4yo on his own if he didn't have anything in his hands. The creek had swimming holes that were deep and small rapids for the kids to go down on tubes. The hostess was very responsive and kind. Given the option we would love to return at a future date."
