"The hotel is located in an older building but it has been taken care of very well. The room was wonderful. It was spacious and easy to control the temperature. The room was also very quiet. Everything seemed clean and we had no issues or concerns. We’d stay there again."

Aloft by Marriott Wichita
8/10 Good
"The hotel is new, very clean, and well designed, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The gym and swimming pool are also very good. Overall, I had a positive experience with the hotel itself. My main recommendation: do not pay extra for breakfast. I paid about $25 per day, and it was absolutely not worth it. There is no breakfast buffet or anything comparable. The options were very limited—essentially ordering something like a sandwich or fruit. After the first couple of days, I asked for a refund for the remaining breakfasts. Because I had booked through Expedia, I was told to contact Expedia. Expedia then contacted the property, and I was told they needed to check with a manager. After going back and forth, I was eventually told they would refund only about $8 per day. The whole process was unnecessarily complicated and frustrating. My suggestion is simple: stay at the hotel, but skip the breakfast package. There is an Another Broken Egg Cafe right across the street with much better breakfast options. Other than the breakfast issue, the hotel itself is very good."
