"This was our third visit to Spa Cottages. It is a great base for exploring the Lake District. Parking can be a bit tight, but for the majority of the time we were able to park directly outside the property."

"We had a lovely stay here, perfect location for walks, pubs/restaurants, Keswick town. The cottage had everything we needed and more, loved the garden for our dog and very comfy bed."

"Accommodation clean and tidy. Keys a little hard to find at the beginning for entry as there are many 'front porches'. In a nice area with mountain views and easy access to Whinlatter and Keswick and surrounding area."

"The property had amazing views, and was only a short walk to a pub serving nice food.
The garden was great for our 2 Springer Spaniels, plenty of room for sniffing around and seemed secure as they never escaped once!
Inside was everything you needed. The main bedroom was huge and had the great views.
We were only a 5 minute drive to Keswick and close to lots of great walks. Would definitely stay here again."

"Highly recommended. Convenient location for western fells in Lake district. Best wi-fi signal of any hotel/B+B I've stayed in, with each room having its own secure connection. Large screen TV in each room. Bar has large screen TV with Sky Sports. Food is good. Will stay there again if I go walking in the western Lake District."
"First impressions were good.
Room & bathroom clean.
Got very warm during the night even though there was no heating on.
Shame the main dining room wasn't open on Monday/Tuesday it looked a better menu choice than the brasserie.
Overall staff were polite but the attitude during breakfast was generally unattentive & brusk.
Would I go back? Probably"
"Beautiful hotel , food in restaurant exceptional, staff very helpful, amazing views !! Dont think they should charge for parking though! Otherwise a lovely place to stay ."
"Lovely property, breakfast good, lots of choice.
Walls a bit thin, could hear person next door snoring.
Windows were heavy and propped open with wood, husband had to lift up to remove the wood. Room was clean. To turn the taps on, they were the wrong way round Shower pipe was leaking but still had good pressure.
Would stay again"
"The hotel was very well maintained and super clean one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in the Uk, the staff went above and beyond and were very accommodating they kept our luggage as we planned a hike and the breakfast was lovely too. We hadn’t had the time to use the spa facilities or anything else. We would recommend this hotel as everything is super close and convenient. Thank you to all the staff"
