"We had a really good stay. Parking next door is a real bonus in the city centre. Food was good and the staff are helpful. The building itself was constructed in the 1980's I suspect and as a result it does look a bit dated, but it was clean and tidy nevertheless. The only real complaint was that the USB phone charging sockets in room 202 don't work at all. Mentioned to the reception desk but it was not fixed, but they did recommend to plug into the back of the TV that did work, albeit very slowly."

"We stayed one night while we were in Bristol for a show at the Hippodrome. It is an older hotel, but a comfortable stay with convenient car parking. It is conveniently located within walking distance of many sites and places to eat. We had a good size, clean room. The bed comfortable and showers hot. We really liked the white company toiletries, and there was plenty of choice for breakfast. Would be happy to stay if we are in the area again."

"The superior room we stayed in for one night was perfectly acceptable- spotlessly clean- a nice powerful shower and a really comfortable bed. A decent TV as well. However, the breakfast was a let-down. Firstly, the buffet trays were slow to be replenished and the food itself was extremely average. The scrambled egg was rubbery (no other variation of egg) tastless mushrooms, and the bacon was woefully undercooked. Sausages and hash browns were ok. There was a sign saying if you want vegetarian/vegan sausages you had to ask for them! My partner asked for veggie sausages - when they arrived they looked like burnt offerings and seemed to be mainly constructed from potato! Not nice at all! So room nice, breakfast not so much."
