"The staff and breakfast where both great, what let's this hotel down is the desperate need for major refurbishment. The rooms have new furniture and paint but beyond this it's very old and tired. The bathrooms where last done in the very early 90s by the look of them. The pool area was also extremely old with bits of tiles missing in the pool, closed of sauna, and very scruffy changing rooms. "

"The staff were all so friendly and helpful, particularly the chap at breakfast. Good central location and comfy bed."

"The Spa rub and swimming pool were extremely cold. The Pool, sauna and steam room requires some TLC. "

"Excellent place to stay even if on business. Very clean and smart. Decent eating options as well. "

"The pool was warm but the hot tub was out of order today so not able to use which was very disappointing seeing as it wasn't working properly yesterday either and is a big part of the attraction of staying at Cave Castle. It was also not pointed out by the leisure centre staff when wishing to use the leisure facilities which it should have been. Poor service definitely"
