"We had a great few days staying at The Plough Inn. Very pleased with our room which had a really comfortable bed and great power shower, both of which are, in our opinion, essential to a relaxing stay. The Plough is only 12 miles from Cromer and norfolk coast which makes it a great base to explore the lovely coastline and norfolk broads. We did have lunch twice in the restaurant and dinner one evening. There is a really wide variety of options on the menu but be prepared, the portions are very generous and neither of us managed to finish our meal even though it was very tasty. Last but not least the staff were lovely. They made us feel so welcome and couldnt have been more helpful. A big 10 out of 10 from us."

"The checkin was great. Staff could not have been more helpful. The room was really lovely - big with a large bathroom with lovely big fluffy towels and good quality shower, shampoo and conditioner lotions. We had dinner which was very good."

Also I had the fish and chips one evening and it has to be said it ranks along side the best I have ever eaten....Attentive staff who clearly know what they are doing . We have never stayed in Wells before but we will definitely stay here again when we return."
