"The location is wonderful... steps from the castle and from shops and cafes. The hotel is beautiful, especially the entry and seating area. There is a steak house in the hotel. The rooms were nice, very comfortable mattress and pillows. Everything was clean and new. The pool, gym, sauna, and steam rooms were a wonderful addition."

"Excellent stay! Very nice rooms. Great pool, it’s heated. Staff was friendly and informative. Walking distance to downtown. For local meals hit Sullivans hotel for lunch and dinner. The GALLEY for breakfast, farm fresh! Oconnors great for take away bakery. GREAT LOCATION! We also went to sheep farm, 2 hours away, well worth it. We stopped at Spuds and Shells it is rustic great potato main meals. 🇮🇪"

"The hotel is updating it's water-view restaurant and bar. That's a shame even though the alternative facilities were OK. I was advised that this was the case in advance of my stay but is the only reason why I did not give a 5-star review. Staff were very helpful and welcoming at all times."
