"Perfect 👌 "

"This was a special booking for us. My mum got married here nearly 30 years ago. Due to ill health; this is their last time being able to get to the hotel. So we decided to surprise them with staying for the night…they thought they were just going for lunch. I reached out to the hotel to explain the situation & from the get go; they were exceptional with their support in making it a memorable experience. Nothing was too much trouble. We were kindly gifted room upgrades to make it extra special. A picture from their wedding was emailed & they added it into my parents room. The lovely ladies on reception helped delivering the surprise. Coming to the restaurant to deliver their room keys. A lot of “no, you’ve got the wrong people” & yes it’s for you…when it sunk in, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. It was such a special stay with so much sentimental value. I cannot praise the staff - everyone we interacted with were warm & welcoming. The hotel itself has clearly changed a lot since they originally got married. The communal areas are absolutely stunning. Really modern. It felt like I could be in a beach club in the med (but snow when we looked outside!) I cannot thank everyone enough for making it so special! I wish we could come back again!! "

"All good! Room lovely and clean with a great view of the sea; breakfast was lovely too - pancakes with maple syrup (and or bacon if you chose) along with other choices. Because of the weather we didn’t end up taking our dog but saw many there and it’s lovely and dog friendly. A nice quiet room at the back for a chat and a drink and we enjoyed an evening meal there too"

"The room was clean, and tidy. It was basic and comfortable for the price paid. Great customer service from the team at the hotel and the hotel was decorated for Christmas and looked great "

"Very friendly lad on reception and booking in efficient. Sorted car parking. Building appealing and clean. Room clean and had a bath. Was a bit noisy from windows but i put that down to the storm tgat passed through. On the whole, will definitely be staying again."

"Amazing for price"

"Clean and comfy room, we slept wonderfully well! Nice hot shower, plenty of towels and a kettle in the room. We enjoyed walking to Scarborough Castle, St. Mary’s church and around the Pier from this location. Thank you for a lovely stay! "

"Cheap, quiet and clean with helpful staff. Building was once a beautiful gothic victorian spa and has a lots of original features. Sadly the the building and decor have seen better days, but what can be expected at such a lot cost?"

"Hotel rooms were, perhaps, typical of an older hotel, decorations a bit tired - as were carpets - but adequate. Our first room had a large stain on the bathroom ceiling which the staff identified and arranged our move to a bigger and better room. This really impressed us because it didn't require any complaining from us. Quite how it should be. All in all the staff were excellent and we really enjoyed our stay. We would certainly visit again."
