Nice and quiet place to relax , falling asleep with the sound of waves, waking up with the sound of birds. No air conditioning needed because of nice breeze, kitchen well equipped, nice and welcoming hosts, long walks on the beach without seeing anyone.Perfect stay.

Quiet and very small town with few amenities because it hasn’t been “tourized” yet. Still, found charming and good places to eat, and everyone was friendly. Expect to see what life is actually like for local Fijians. A good thing in my book!
Savusavu is on venua levu which seems to get quite a bit more rain than the other more visited areas of Fiji such as Nadi and the Mamanucas. It is a great way to explore the different aspects of Fiji.
