"Nice old building. But no essentials like lotion, make up remover. Fan available but no A/C. Very basic small room. Breakfast was available for 20 Euros pp when a nearby bakery offered it for less than half the price. Very walkable and close to harbor and restaurants. Would stay there again for location but not during hot summer days/nights."

"Great location in the centre of Konstanz. Air conditioning in the room was brilliant for surviving and sleeping in the heat. The room had a small working refrigerator which was also a godsend. Hotel was really good, I would have marked it excellent if it would have had modern locks on the doors, not a big key which you needed to lock once in the room and when you left. Tea and coffee making facilities"

"A beautiful old hotel in the heart of the pedestrian part of the town. You do have to walk up a steep hill or many steps though if you go down to the lake! My only criticism would be there is absolutely no fresh air in the bedroom, I realise it's an old hotel so I'm not sure how you would change that..... The car parking is also a bit of a walk from the hotel, but you can unload before going to the parking area."

"The room was clean and comfortable, The staff were friendly and helpful. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but staff helpfully supplied a kettle when requested. Hotel was a pleasant 20 minutes walk along the river to the old town and public transport options are also available, A very pleasant stay."

"Wonderful location close to the lake and old town. The A/C worked really well, which was so nice! Breakfast buffet is wonderful but can get crowded. Only issues were a very small shower, and a large window (without any curtain) in the bathroom. Other guests could see right in so we ended up having to hang a towel over the window for privacy."

"Good position. Walk to the main town and harbour area in 15 mins, easy walk. Room is small but adequate. We found the room quite noisy from the road during the night. Breakfast was good, very busy and queueing at weekends."
