Lovely week in Sarlat area

Really enjoyed our stay in Luc’s beautiful property. Location is perfect for exploring both, Sarlat town ( walking distance) and “Golden Dordogne valley triangle”. Plenty of towels provided for chilling around the pool, well equipped kitchen if you feel like cooking as you are only moments from the shops. Luc was easy to deal with and very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Idyliic rural retreat in the centre of Sarlat

We have just enjoyed a wonderful 10 night holiday here in Sarlat ! The house is brilliantly located in a secluded wooded valley in the heart of Sarlat town close to all the amenities and supermarkets ! The pool is beautiful and very warm and the gardens well kept ! The Weber char coal barbecue was a god send and used every evening! Wild life is in abundance from Song birds galore, crickets, ducks, frogs , red squirrels and even an otter visiting us during our stay! The accommodation is spacious and comfortable! The air con worked a treat to keep the house a delightful temperature ! Both bathrooms were immaculate and the beds very comfortable ( you may want to take firmer pillows ) the kitchen was small but well equipped with every appliance available for a modern kitchen ! The dishwasher was a god send and made life very easy after a barbecue! Quite simply the best holiday home we have stayed in in France ! Great value and luc was a fantastic host ! Highly recommended by our whole family including both babies !

Erholung mit kleinen Abstrichen

Wir hatten zwei sehr schöne Urlaubswochen. Der Empfang von Luc war sehr herzlich. Das Haus ist wunderschön , aber nun mal ein altes Steinhaus..heißt, es ist nicht alles perfekt. In manchen Ecken war es nicht so sauber, wie wir es gewohnt sind. Aber schnell mal den Besen geschwungen ,dann war es ok. Die Küche ist reichlich ausgestattet mit allem, was man so braucht . Im Garten steht ein neuer Webergrill...super!!! Handtücher gab es pro Bett nur ein Baddhandtuch, zum Glück hatten wir eigene dabei. Die Schlafzimmer eignen sich für sechs Erwachsene und zwei Kinder , da ein Schlafzimmer nur durch Vorhänge vom Flur getrennt sind. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Der Pool ist ein Traum . Herrlich . In der ersten Woche hatten wir himmlische Ruhe, Natur pur . Frösche, Vögel , Eidechsen und auch eine Schlange waren die Besucher . Wo Wasser ist, sind auch Moskitos . Aber mit abendlichem Einsprühen war es kein Problem . In der zweiten Wochen waren die Nachbarn sehr fleißig ...leider wurde dadurch die Ruhe durch Rasenmäher, Heckenscheren und sonstigen Lärm gestört ...wie zu Hause halt 😵‍💫. Aber auch das war zu ertragen, am Nachmittag war es wieder ruhig. Alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind schnell zu erreichen . Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

Très bon séjour proche de Sarlat

Le gîte est très confortable et bien équipé. La maison est conforme à la description et aux photos de l'annonce. Idéalement situé si l'on veut profiter de la ville de Sarlat dont le centre est à seulement 5 minutes en voiture. Tout a été parfait durant notre séjour.

Summer 2022

Luc was very welcoming when we arrived and ran through everything. He doesn't speak much English so the instruction sheet needed to be in English as well. Over all we felt it was alot of money for what it was, the kitchen was out dated and small, it did have all the utensils you could need, the dining area was good, the living area sofas were OK just a bit old and sticky. Upstairs, one of the bedrooms was just a makeshift affair with a curtain across, none of the beds had headboards except the one downstairs. The master upstairs had hessian carpet that hurt your feet and a sloping ceiling meaning you couldn't sit up in bed. The upstairs family bathroom had no shower and the window wouldn't open. Upstairs was so hot with no air-conditioning just fans,but you can't open the windows as the mosquitoes come in, could do with mesh at the windows. The pool was lovely and clean and warm, the decking was a bit warped and splitery. The mosquitoes were a pain. Good location, can walk to Sarlat, and supermarket just round the corner. Over all a nice week away just a bit expensive

Calme, espace et nature près de tout.

Grande maison ancienne (ex moulin) parfaitement rénovée. Suite principale en rez de chaussée, très grande salle à manger salon, piscine tempérée 10X5 exceptionnelle, grand deck avec vue sur les arbres du parc, Source d'eau et petit ruisseau agrémentent le parc. Aucune pollution visuelle ou sonore tout en étant très proche de Sarlat Centre ou des supermarchés. Aimable reception et discretion du proprietaire.

Fantastique!

La propriété est magnifique, très bien située. Nous avons passé un super séjour. Nous avons été reçu par le propriétaire qui s'est rendu disponible, et a été très accueillant. Nous conseillons vivement cette location qui bénéficie d'une très belle piscine, sécurisée par un volet.Le jardin est agrémenté de salons de jardin, c'est très convivial. Merci encore.

Magnifique maison au calme, pres des commerces

Nous avons loué une semaine dans cette superbe maison et avons passé des vacances inoubliables en Dordogne. La maison est vraiment très grande et nous avons été très agréable surpris par rapport aux photos. La maison est bien équipée et confortable.  A quelques minutes des commerces mais complètement au calme, c'est pour nous l'endroit idéal pour passer des vacances familiales, autour d'une magnifique piscine et en pleine nature. Les enfants ont adoré compter les grenouilles du petit ruisseau sur la propriété et regarder les écureuils dans les arbres. Je recommande vivement cette maison et n'hésiterai pas à la réserver à nouveau.
