The towels are extremely old, like the sheets that barely cover the mattresses, not to mention that if you don't know Rio de Janeiro, this property is very far from the city's tourist attractions, it’s located on the part of the mountains and when it rains it is extremely dangerous. "Rooms are basic but clean. Breakfast is good but even on weekends closes at 10:00AM. Staff mostly speaks Portuguese only but are very helpful. Toilet amenities are barely basic. Few slivers of soap bars is just pathetic. Tiny Shampoo/Conditioner mix. No facial tissues anywhere in the room. The room entrance door floor latching mechanism is an accident waiting to happen that can break your toe. Area of the hotel is safe and clean. 10-15 minutes walk that is very safe to tons of nice restaurants and cafe’s. The restaurant inside the resort has excellent quality, and super delicious food, one should not miss it."
