"Overall the property, or indeed, our apartment was great. Clean, and all rooms to a very good standard. Location access was and could be tricky as pavement area requires you to be vigilant to oncoming traffic as you navigate the entry gate. Fantastic views of the landscape of Funchal and 5 minutes walk down the hill you'll find a bank, local cafe/bar, local supermarket and the most beautiful of churches. "The apartment is spacious, the kitchen is well equipped. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Very comfortable and clean. Maybe a mosquito net and air conditioning would have been nice because it was very hot and humid. But these are just extras. It's not the accommodation's fault, but the constant barking of the neighboring dogs was very disturbing in the evening/night. but if you close the window, you can't hear them.:)"
