"We didn't try the breakfast. The room we got is ok. Need to more improve on amenities and cleanness. But its really quiet to stay there. The staffs are really helpful. It was raining and very cold so we didn't try the jacuzzi. Really beautiful by the Lake . Nature around is amazing. "

"It was OK, no staff at hotel you check in via text message. Facilities are dated and showing age road is loud but overall it’s fine for an overnight stay between stops. Be sure to go to Julian pie Company for a slice of pie delicious."

"The breakfast was better than most similar options. They had hot food (scrambled eggs, cheesy omelet, sausage links or patties. If not for anything else, the breakfast and per friendliness are considerable factors to choose this spot."

"Do not ever under any circumstances ever consider staying here . I made a reservation through Expedia Payment was taken and the hotel confirmed the reservation I arrived late after a long day and a flight from NY there was no one at the counter, but there was a sign saying back in 10 minutes, so I proceeded to sit down and wait and wait at some point The phone rang and a woman emerged from the back with a bell that she proceeded to place on the counter saying ring the bell for service. Meanwhile, the phone rang and she immediately picked up the phone as if I wasn’t even there and then told the person that there was one room left and that they were going to get it and took all the information and proceeded to deal with me at that point she told me that I did not have a reservation so I showed her the reservation on my phone. She said she could check in another area showing enough. She said my reservation was canceled canceled by who she said it was canceled because it was overbooked and that, I should’ve received a phone call but they didn’t have my phone number. This is absolutely ridiculous because she gave somebody else a room five minutes before. If she would’ve taken the time just to speak with me before she took the phone call maybe I would’ve had a room instead I had to drive at half hour all the way back to Chula Vista because there’s no hotels anywhere near that area. It was a disgrace never mind that it’s run down. I would rather stay at the Bates Motel."
