"Our stay here was perfect. The location was fabulous, the rooms were clean and looked like the listing photos. Our only complaint was that we had 5 people on our reservation and we only had towels for 4, and the pull out bed that was listed in our reservation did not have sheets or pillows or a blanket for the first night until I reached out to the property to have some delivered. However, even with that issue we would definitely stay here again!"

"Beautiful property located in Alfama (old part of town). Hosts are lovely and very accommodating. We arrived late and Olinda, who is just wonderful, let us in. Hilarious and warm, we felt right at home. The home has everything you need, the shower was fantastic after a long day of walking around. The courtyard is lovely, we ate breakfast there everyday. Speaking of breakfast, couple of really nice coffee / pastry shops at walking distance (Fora, Augusto). Tram 28 stop very close to the location....

"This was a very charming apartment in a nice, walkable area of town. The directions to the apartment and how to get in were very accurate. It is true that the stairs are steep. The many rooms make it easy to stay with family. The dining table was nice for playing cards. The area has a lot of restaurants and bars. There is a nice view of the river from the top floor. There is no air conditioning, so beware depending on what time of year you come. The street noise was loud through the night as...

"Had a nice stay at the Dalma suites. Had a bit of trouble finding it but we were jet lagged. Nice area in the middle of the action. Plenty of good places to eat and a short walk to all the sites to see"

The location is very central, but also extremely busy and touristy, so it may suit those who enjoy being right in the middle of the crowds. More importantly, we were disappointed with the cleanliness.
