"We were pleased with the remodelled hotel until it came time to take showers. There was no water coming out of the faucet. The young man from the hotel was nice but unable to fix. He did offer to change rooms for us but it was late and my daughter was in bed already. We ended up staying in the room with no showers because we were only staying for 1 night. I left a message for management requesting partial refund but did not receive call/email back."

"We stayed at this hotel the night before in one of their villas and had planned a special Mother’s Day lunch and birthday celebration for our mom at the hotel’s restaurant. I made the reservation THREE WEEKS in advance, and nothing was explained to me over the phone about any issues or limitations. Unfortunately, there was a major mistake with our reservation, but what was even worse was the behavior of the restaurant manager. Instead of trying to help or find a solution so our family celebration wouldn’t be ruined, he was incredibly rude, dismissive, and unapologetic the entire time. His attitude showed absolutely no empathy or professionalism. We were left standing there with hungry children on Mother’s Day weekend, stressed that our family might end up without a table or food, while the manager simply kept saying there was nothing he could do. Mistakes can happen anywhere, but the way this situation was handled was honestly embarrassing for a hotel restaurant. What should have been a beautiful family celebration became a very disappointing and stressful experience because of the manager’s behavior."

"Nice large hotel with many rooms. Convenient and local restaurants close by. Staff was very helpful with assisting me with my things to my room, as I’m disabled & traveling solo. Very quiet and they have a good hot breakfast each day."

"Property was easy to access and beautifully decorated. It is perfect for 1 or 2 people. The kitchen was well stocked with complementary coffee & tea, and everything you need to make meals. The bed was VERY comfortable. House was quiet and I could only hear footsteps from the adjoining house."

"My two friends and I chose this location for a nice, peaceful, and relaxing getaway. I’ll start with the PROS: the scenery is absolutely beautiful, and the nearby downtown area is very cute with small coffee shops and restaurants to explore. When the resident family wasn’t home, it was nice and quiet. We also loved the friendly cat that came to visit—it was a sweet touch! Additionally, the owner was very responsive and quickly helped us when we needed new batteries for the remote.CONS: The listing stated it comfortably sleeps three with a queen bed and a twin bed, but the “twin bed” was actually an air mattress, not a real bed. Also, this rental is essentially a mother-in-law suite attached to the main house, which was not clearly described in the listing. Because of this, it felt less secluded than expected. We could hear the resident family, even with the windows closed, including children playing, screaming, and even full phone conversations. While we’re not opposed to kids being kids, we specifically chose this place expecting a more private and quiet experience. The listing describes it as a “cozy guest quarters” and it appeared under “entire home” results, which felt misleading given that it’s attached to an occupied main residence.Overall, this place has some lovely qualities, but clearer expectations in the listing would have made a big difference in our experience."
