"I would have thought that WiFi would be a standard amenity in each room but that is not the case. The rooms in the hotel itself have WiFi but as our room was in a separate building down the street that was not the case. The rooms in the hotel also have nice ocean views but again, the building where our room was located didn’t afford the view that I expected."

"Everything was very good — clean and well equipped. Bed linen, towels, kitchenware and appliances were all provided, and the parking was great too. The view was amazing, and of course the special Madeira touch — watching the planes take off and land, visible even from the room. Overall, everything was perfect. Highly recommended!"

"We wanted to make our anniversary special, so we chose this hotel for its location, pools and mention of a restaurant. Everything was prepared beautifully. I truly wish I remembered the names of the staff or had written them down. There was an older gentleman and a woman with braces in the restaurant that were so incredibly attentive and kind. There was a woman with glasses and a gentleman with facial hair at the front desk that were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They made this location an 11/10. We could not be happier with the level of service provided. I could not imagine a better stay in Madeira."

"Room was dated but clean. Indoor pool was useful. Can't swim at the beach because there no beach, very rocky and waves were pretty rough, but nice to have waterfront view. Very accessible to funchal by bus. Bus stop was just a block away. Font desk were not too helpful interms of going out of their way looking for excursions outside of their tour partners. Beach towels were controlled, first sets are free, if need clean ones there are extra fees and must return the towels to front desk to avoid fees. Cannot leave it in the room. Breakfast was good. All in all, we enjoyed our stay."
