"We had a lovely stay at Vila Alpina. The room was clean and spacious the bed was comfy and there was plenty of parking. The communal outdoor space was really nice. The Vila is a short walk to the lake and the nearest restaurants, and about a 25 minute walk round to the larger town centre. The man on reception was extremely friendly and helpful, giving us lots of great recommendations for restaurants and things to do."

"I would not recommend this place. Receptionist met us when we arrived. Told us there was staffing issues at their hotel in Blef. Gave us the code to the front doorand a number to call for emergencies. We went to dinner, came back at 930pm. There was not lights on inside or outside the hotel. "There's no question the location is absolutely stunning on the shores of lake bled. Directly looking across at the castle. Absolutely amazing views. The property itself is very old. The buffet side of the breakfast has plenty of fruit and pastries. They imply like you could order something except for all of the wait staff completely avoids you. The interactions at the restaurant were the same you see people there so you know they're not doing anything but almost impossible to flag anybody down...

"The 2-bedroom family suite with bled island and castle view was a tight space for a family of four and was in my opinion not worth the high price. On hindsight, renting a more spacious apartment would have been more comfortable and affordable. Good shower pressure but a small single bathroom.
