"The hotel is uphill with beautiful views of the mountains. The sunset was incredible. Be aware the road is unsealed the last kilometre and you need to WhatsApp message the hotel in advance of arrive for them to open the entry gate. Staff were very friendly and accomodating even though our Spanish is terrible. This is a boutique hotel with only 5 rooms and we had the place to ourselves. "Excellent stay in Quito at JW Marriott. Check in was very efficient and our room for three was large and nicely appointed. The spa and fitness area was one of the best I’ve used in any hotel. Breakfast buffet excellent. All in all a very nice and relaxing stay. "
