The room was clean and the shower was very nice. The staff member at the front desk was welcoming. The surroundings were quiet and felt pretty safe. My only complaint is that I booked a non-smoking room, but it still smelled like cigarettes.

I didn't visit any place but the Burger King for a cheap bite. I'm not sure if I would have felt safe enough, but we were also in pandemic times, so I didn't even try.
