"The Arenal observatory hotel was so beautiful … Located where you could see the Arenal volcano from a lookout point outside the restaurant. We were able to spot variously type of birds in our birding adventure. The breakfast was amazing … our waitress Joseph along with other staff were very professional . Breathing fresh pure air was a great welcome to our lungs . The room was well kept . Overall just amazing"

"The food especially the fish was not so good. I guess a $50 tip for the guy that showed us around the property was not enough because he wouldn't even look at us after that. Other than that the place is great we loved it except the water slide was closed and so was the bar I guess low season."

"It’s pretty remote kinda, they don’t have lights to lead you to the area from the road so it’s best to get there before it gets dark. The breakfast was good, there different variety especially with dinner. Staff was very nice & accommodating. My air conditioning wasn’t that cold but still enough for some air. "
