"The hotel staff were the best part of this old hotel. Rather old fashioned, other references talk about a pool? Despite the heat I saw nothing of this. Bathroom was clean but very very dated, everything worked although bathroom door did not shut properly. Breakfast was very basic but 24 hour help yourself affair, useful when coming in for a quick top up of coffee / water / juice. It was very noisy, mainly other guests, you could hear every little noise. I chose the hotel as it was roughly midway...

"Very pleasant stay. This was the second over the years. Helpful staff. Very nice room with balcony. The only inconvenience is that hotel is about 1.5 km from city centre but it is convenient for travellers having private transport (car). Taxi is typically expensive from the railway station (ranging between 23 to 30 Euro."

"Absolutely beautiful property in an idyllic location surrounded by greenery. Staff were welcoming and helpful, breakfast was absolutely delicious and a real highlight each morning. The swimming pool area was lovely although watch out for mosquitoes! Would definitely return."
