Peña Mar Ocean Club is a well secured complex with 24 hour security. The development has three pools, 1 children's pool, 1 tennis court, one basketball court, one Jacuzzi, walking track, and an exercise room with sauna, playground and clubhouse. The view from the balcony is spectacular you can see Villa Marina, Palomino, Palominito islands and on a clear day you can see Culebra and St. Thomas. The complex is very safe with 24 hours security and gated entrance. Snorkeling trips are 1 minute away (at the marina you see from the deck); Playa Seven Seas is a beautiful and uncrowded beach; a nature reserve w/ guided tours is 5 min; and El Yunque Caribbean National Forest is 20 min. Grocery shopping is 2 min away. Also, you can take a ferry (5 minutes away) or an airplane on the local airport to visit Culebra and Vieques islands. El Conquistador Resort and the golf course are 3 minutes away. Walking distance to Marinas where you can go for a day sail to Icacos, Palominos, Ramos among other islands. San Juan is only one hour away
