"Clean, spacious room in a modern hotel with a spacious bathroom were much appreciated. The spacious, airy theme continued in all public spaces. Odd things like a tiny sliver of a balcony with only one chair, not so much. The buffet breakfast works well.
Unfortunately, we could only give 3 stars due to the paper-thin walls and how much sound filtered in. We could hear our neighbours on both sides so clearly: they kept us awake or, like yesterday morning, I failed to get a lie in due to next door's wake up alarm and subsequent three snoozes. We could hear their music, conversations and snores all night. Our non-soundproofed walls reduced our relaxation and enjoyment of the the evenings. The intrusive sounds are worse due to the loud nature of conversations on patios, regularly up to 2am.
Hence, the staff and hotel are great, but you'll need good earplugs to get a good night's sleep.
No concierge or porter services. Book your trips beforehand. The hotel is trying to be a mix of business/conference and holiday provider. The latter could be greatly improved with a tours desk.
It's not a great location either. The shuttle only holds 8 people and comes every 10/15 mins to the train station. The train is then 4 stops away to the city centre and it's a crowded, busy commuter shuttle. Not really relaxing but ok if you're fit and able. Around the hotel, there are some very rough pedestrian paths with no lighting. It's much better with a car to get around.
Would not return.
