"The room was massive. It was a little noisy and you couldn’t really walk around the neighbourhood during the night. Even during the daytime, it’s a little sketchy but the hotel is situated only about a 3 minute Uber to downtown. Well worth the money."

"Great proximity to Poas Volcano! Beautiful view and cozy room. The bathtub did not get very hot, but probably just due to its large size. The property is very well-maintained and breakfast was delicious! Also helpful and friendly staff (including Coco, the large white fluffy dog). I wish we stayed longer!"

"They just finished painting the pool edge...looks great. This is our 3 year at the Trapp Family Inn. The only thing that was different was it was warmer than usually in San Jose than in previous years. The rooms were definitely warmer, but we were glad we had ceiling fans. Service, Food, and hospitality were great. We'll be BACK!"

"Daniel and his wife were very kind and accommodating. The property is really great, the way they have it laid out, to feel like a garden area in the back. We especially like the breakfast area !! Breakfast was hearty and yummy. Shuttle service was great. Very conveniently located to the airport. Felt like it was in a neighborhood with an instantly surprised me, but all was good and safe."
