Chalet Moccand is superbly located within a 5 minute flat walk, just 350m from the historic centre of Samoens with its shops, restaurants, bars, ice rink and weekly market. Although convenient, it boasts a quiet location, popular for holidays at all times of the year. In winter the free ski bus stops within 110 metres and takes 2 minutes to reach the main Grand Massif Express ski lift, 1km away or a 12 minutes walk, if you fancy a warm up before hitting the slopes. If you chose to use one of our partner rental shops, ski equipment storage is available at the top or bottom of the ski lift. Samoens' lakes, adventure park, tennis courts and swimming pool (summer) are all also within 1.5km of the chalet.

The top two floors of Chalet Moccand are a self-contained apartment, with its own private entrance, used by the chalet's owners, who may use the swim spa at a separate time.

Using a mix of alpine furnishings and contemporary decor, the main chalet is arranged over the lower ground, ground and first floors of the property and is totally self-contained. As you enter the chalet, you are greeted by the light and spacious open plan lounge area. With 3 deep and comfy anthracite sofas, large log fire, flat screen satellite TV, DVD's, Bluetooth speaker, free Wi-Fi (via Starlink), Xbox 360 and games, books and board games, it offers the perfect place to kick back and relax. A games room on the lower level provides a pool table, table football, darts, Karaoke machine, large TV, DVD player and games console. The spacious dining area offers 2 chunky wooden tables, suitable for large groups to dine in comfort and enjoy the lovely alpine views.
The bright and spacious, superbly equipped kitchen offers the perfect social space for providing group meals with plenty of work space, large island unit with stools, 2 full size ovens, ceramic hob, microwave, slow cooker, Senseo coffee machine and further cafetieres, a traditional raclette machine, large fridge freezer, plenty of pans, casserole dishes and baking equipment such as electric whisk and cake tins. French doors lead off the kitchen, to provide plenty of light, making catering for groups a real pleasure.

Chalet Moccand offers a flat and sunny garden, with ample parking. In the summer there is plenty of space for outside dining and BBQ's in the shade of the mature apple trees. In the winter plenty of space for kids to play and make snowmen! The chalet benefits from a superb 4.5m/15 foot long swim spa (parental supervision required). Great for swimming or relaxation. One end is a spa / hot tub with seating, jets and bubbles, while the other end has a series of strong jets, which supply an adjustable current for swimming. Hot and steamy in the winter, cool and refreshing in the summer! Heated and available until 9pm everyday of the year.
