"This is a budget hotel, so do not expect $150/night accommodations. If your expectations are realistic, you will likely be pleased with the clean rooms and facility, helpful staff, excellent location, and economic pricing. Some worry about the area not being safe. I walked to local restaurants and across the street to the local Maverick (like 7-11 for those of you not familiar with the chain) and was not worried. DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Salt Lake City
10/10 Excellent
"We haven't been through Salt Lake City in a few years and the last time we were we stayed at the Double Tree. At that time it was going through a major remodel/makeover because it was still mostly the previous hotel chain's features and furnishings and they were refitting it to Double Tree standards. Since that time the remodel is complete and we were quite pleased with the accommodations. It is quite the upgrade and we were very pleased and will make the Double Tree our first choice on our next trip through Utah."
