"Stayed here recently and the experience was disappointing for the price paid. The location is decent, but that’s probably the only positive. The kitchen gadgets and utensils were old, worn out, and not really useful for cooking. The room also lacked proper ventilation, making it uncomfortable to stay for long periods. Overall, it did not feel worth the money and needs better maintenance and upgrades."

"Lovely couple who own and run the Inn. Once we got there we were offered an upgrade overlooking the marina, wich is a great added feature to enjoy. The bed was very comfortable, we would absolutely stay there again."
"The room is very basic which I could tolerate BUT window blinds in front and back windows were broken. The lamp between the beds was broken. No outlet in the bathroom. Stairs are concrete and very narrow which make carrying suitcases to the second floor difficult. View is of the parking lot of the marina. The worst: there is construction going on right behind the hotel. As in, heavy machinery less than five feet from the window and back wall. We were disappointed with the room immediately when arriving, but since it was prepaid, decided to stay instead of finding another place. At the end of the first day, we came back at 5pm to rest. The giant machines were shaking the entire building and a crane was dropping huge heavy metal plates on the ground right outside our window. If the operator made an error, they would have come right through the wall or roof. Decided to leave the next morning and had to circle the office and bang on a window to get the attention of staff. I have never ever left a bad review, but the owner of this property should NOT have this property listed until conditions improve. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!"
"I noticed there was a foul smell in our room. When I called the front desk he really didn’t offer a solution. He brought this deodorizer to the room, it didn’t really help. It was late so we just decided to go to sleep. I will not stay there again."

"Our issue was accessibility, we are in our late 60s and 70s. We booked on Expedia and the only comment under suitability and accessibility was non-smoking. There was no mention of hauling luggage on long board walk and up or down stairs considering we were transporting food, drink, games, musical instruments in addition to luggage.
I'm fit and it was a struggle for me. My wife uses a cane."
"Our host was amazing, very attentive and responsive. The room is all we needed as we are prepared for cooking on the boat. The room isn't much just beds, shower and a fridge but that is all we needed."
"Accommodations were beautiful! Great spot to stay in Ucluelet, peaceful atmosphere. Very close to the beach, grocery store, and Lighthouse. Also a short drive to Tofino. Everything you need to cook your own food. Thank you for the wonderful place to stay!"
"Beautiful flowers all around; lovely view of the harbour; helpful staff. We had booked a stay in 2023 and had to cancel at the last minute because the road was closed due to the wildfires. West Coast Motel folks graciously had understood and there was no charge for cancellation.
In the unit, the bed was very comfortable; it was helpful to have good kitchen facilities, comfortable living room, bathroom with everything we needed.
The only drawback was the bathroom and kitchen counters with surfaces that were peeling/deteriorating."
